Job description
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the management of our inventory by conducting counts, packaging spare parts, and organizing them in designated locations. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, well-organized inventory storage area, ensuring that all items are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible, while keeping the inventory register up to date.
This role will primarily be based at our warehouse location at Broekman. Once the main tasks at Broekman are completed, there may be opportunities for additional (office) work at our headquarters in Rotterdam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory counts, identifying and correcting discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy;
- Update the inventory register to reflect accurate quantities;
- Package and label spare parts for easy identification and retrieval.
- Assist in organizing spare parts efficiently to optimize storage space and accessibility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inventory storage area.
Requirements:
- Affinity with the technical and offshore industry (relevant education and/or experience being a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 20 kg.
- Basic computer skills for updating inventory records and creating labels.
- Good communication skills.
