The Next Generation Gangway contains several unique features to ensure it is always in perfect working order. Designed with triple redundancy of critical components, such as motion reference units and controls, and incorporating anti-slip tips, the workability of the gangway is safeguarded to the highest degree. A single failure will never lead to any loss in compensation. Our gangway is DNV certified for the latest standards.

The high-performance Gangway uses active motion compensation to land on any kind of offshore facility, without the need for a modified landing area. Compensating vessel motions of significant wave heights up to 3.5 meters, the gangway can be placed at any deck location or height, with the need for only one operator

The footprint of the pedestal of our gangway is 1.9 meters in diameter. This means that it takes up very little deck space, allowing more room for other vital aspects of the operation.

Our Gangway can be used for people transfer between, vessels and fixed objects as well as for floating-to-floating operations.

When in the process of connecting to another surface, the gangway first used position control through motion compensation to keep itself still. This allows the operator to have an accurate overview of gangway positioning. Then, once the gangway tip has safely connected to the surface, position control is instantly switched to force control. This continuous (low) pushing force from the gangway onto the platform ensures that the gangway stays connected, making transfers safe and providing maximum flexibility in landing areas.

With the added lifting winch, the motion compensated gangway is capable of compensated lifts of up to 1000kg.

The tip ladder adds 2 meters to the operational range and is kept stable by position control. This allows for landing over existing structures where a push/force-controlled landing is not possible.

The gangway can be fitted on a height adjustable pedestal with integrated elevator, making it possible to land on any height and maintain a continuous workflow. This configuration provides perfect horizontal access, whilst also being suited for (remote controlled) cargo trolleys of up to 800kg.
