Join Barge Master as an Electrical Engineer and be a part of the most innovative motion compensation solution provider out there!
At Barge Master, you’ll be part of a hands-on engineering team developing advanced offshore motion compensation systems for clients around the world. As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing the power and battery systems that keep our machines operating safely and efficiently.
Your work will focus on the design and integration of electrical power systems, taking into account vessel requirements, technical specifications, safety standards, project budgets, and lead times. You’ll work closely with suppliers and contractors to review and optimise electrical designs and diagrams, ensuring they meet both technical and practical requirements.
Throughout the engineering and build process, you’ll maintain direct contact with contractors and support the successful implementation of your designs. Working alongside mechanical, hydraulic and software engineers, you’ll contribute to fully integrated solutions that perform reliably in demanding offshore environments.
Because our electrical and hydraulic drive systems work closely together, knowledge of hydraulic power systems is a strong advantage. This role offers plenty of variety and collaboration across disciplines, giving you the opportunity to make a visible impact on the performance and functionality of the final equipment.
At Barge Master we work hard to deliver quality and finish our projects in time. We believe a stimulative company culture with enough room for fun motivates our people to do so. Our company is growing, and we want you to grow with it. That is why working at Barge Master also means:
