Floating Solution

The use of motion compensation allows this solution to take place on floating vessels, as the motion compensation counteracts wave movements.

Full Compensation of Entire Crane

The motion compensation system is positioned at the bottom of the crane, ensuring that both the operator and load are kept completely still during lifts. This allows for greater accuracy when lifting with the crane.

Keeping Lifted Loads Still

The use of motion compensation keeps the lifted loads still in the air, allowing for higher accuracy and safety.

High Manoeuvrability with DP2 Vessels

Since this crane is positioned on a DP2 vessel, it guarantees very short relocation times contrary to Jack up Barges which have to jack up and jack down for every relocation.

Independent of Soil Conditions

Since the Barge Master solution is applied onto floating vessels instead of Jack-Ups, you can apply a work method which is independent of seabed or soil conditions.

Independent of Water Depths

Since the Barge Master solution is applied onto floating vessels instead of Jack-Ups, you can apply a work method which is independent of water depths.

Proven Technology

The T40 is based on patented motion compensation technology that has been used in areas with notoriously limiting sea states, such as the North Sea. The T40 has been in use since 2015 upon the Kroonborg, a vessel used by Shell/NAM.

Safety Increase

The T40 allows for safer lifting offshore. By compensating at the base of the crane, and keeping the operator cabin still, the T40 allows for precise offshore lifting, greatly lowering the risk of accidents.
