Motion Compensated Floating Solution

This solution utilises motion compensation on floating vessels to keep loads steady in areas that jack-ups and SEPs cannot reach.

Undo Crane Load (DAF) Restrictions of SEP’s and Jack-ups

By using the compact feeder to stabilise the load, the Dynamic Amplification factor is reduced. The load is no longer made heavier by movement, allowing the crane to lift heavier items offshore.

Undo Payload Restrictions of SEPs and Jack-ups

By feedering the load from a floating barge with the compact feeder, this solution removes jack-up payload limitations.

Smaller Deck-Space/Footprint

The compact feeder is a fun-sized version of our T700. It is designed for smaller motion compensated feedering projects and takes up less deck space than our traditional feeders. Due to a smaller size, this solution also consumes less power, lowering OPEX and emissions.

Safety and Workability Improvement

The use of motion compensation to combat vessel motions helps to increase the window of uptime offshore. This also improves the safety of offshore work by providing a stable feedering base. This solution allows for workability for up to 80% of the year.

Jones Act Compliant

This motion compensation solution can become Jones Act Compliant when placed abord an American vessel of interest.

Proven Technology

Based on the T700 motion compensated platform, and the BM-Feeders, this solution builds off of Barge Master’s proven and patented offshore motion technology and track record in motion compensation solutions.
