Discover Barge Master’s range of offshore motion compensated lifting solutions. Designed to increase safety and workability offshore, these solutions enable efficient lifts in sea states of up to 3 Hs.
The Barge Master T40 is a motion compensated crane, placed on a DP2 vessel, that enables controlled lifting operations with a high crane capacity, making it possible to work at sea almost year-round. It has been proven to increase workability in the North Sea from 180 to 330 days.
Barge Master’s Motion Compensated Crane Vessel pushes the limits for motion compensated lifting in the offshore sphere. Capable of lifting up to 500 tons at a 30 meter radius, this crane vessel utilises offshore motion technology to ensure the safe lifting of cargo in significant wave heights of up to 2.5 meters.
Designed specifically for decommissioning activities, the Decom Barge provides a year-round hoisting workability of more than 85%. This solution utilises a standard crawler crane, in combination with the Barge Master T700 motion compensating platform, all operating on top of a 400 ft barge, lifting up to 125 tonnes at 50ft.
Our 2x Ventus Award nominated solution, designed to lift secondary steel and TP’s of up to 500t at a radius of 30m. With a 40-50% workability increase, this solution provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional SEP’s when installing secondary steel.
Decreasing down-time is never a one-size-fits all strategy. Different problems, different sea states, first time projects, sometimes your workability challenge deserves a bespoke solution.
