For the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm, safe and reliable offshore access was critical during foundation installation in the harsh North Sea. We supplied a Gangway, retrofitted with a tip ladder, enabling motion-compensated access in sea states up to 3.5m Hs. Mounted on the Seaway Strashnov, this solution ensured continuous, safe transfer to WTG foundations, supporting efficient commissioning of the wind farm.

At Limetree Bay Refinery, seven anchor piles had to be installed in water depths up to 270 meters to secure a new CALM buoy. Traditional jack-up barges were unsuitable due to deep water, a 17-degree sloped seabed, and varying soil conditions. Partnering with Large Diameter Drilling, we deployed the T700 motion compensated platform with the LD2500 drilling rig on the SBM Installer. This solution increased workability by 80% and completed the world’s first deep water drilling operation from a floating DSCV, ensuring precise and continuous pile installation under challenging sea state

The Wikinger offshore wind farm, developed by Iberdrola in the Baltic Sea, required precise installation of 70 wind turbine generator foundations under challenging conditions. Partnering with Boskalis and DDC, we deployed the T700 motion compensated platform on a standard barge, enabling continuous, precise drilling and installation despite sea states up to Hs 1.5 meters.
