Roll, pitch and heave have significant impact on the workability of supply vessels during offshore transport and installation activities. These movements restrict the operational window of supply vessels, as the relative movement between the vessel and a fixed object (jack-up barge, platform) exceeds preset limits. The implications hereof for both planning and costs are obvious.

 

Barge Master offers hydraulic platforms, that compensate the movements of vessels/waves. The platforms are kept in an earth fixed steady position, so cargo can safely be lifted from the vessels. The platforms can be placed on any vessel, and can carry loads up to a 1000 mT.
